DISCIPLINE
Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct in the school.
No student can leave the school premises during school working hours without the written permission of the school authorities.
Every child who is present in school should report for school Assembly/Prayers and for Prasadam.
Students should come to school regularly, punctually and neatly dressed in appropriate uniform.
Boys to have proper hair cuts and nails trimmed. Girls hair to be tied neatly into two plaits with black rubber bands.
Girls are not allowed to apply nail paint or henna (Mehndi). And nails to be trimmed.
Students should bring the required text and exercise books to school as per the Time – Table.
Running and shouting in the school building is not allowed. Pupils must keep to the left while using staircases and corridors.
Students should not visit public places in school uniform unless as a part of official school visit.
Unwanted books, periodicals or electronic gadgets should not be brought to school.
MOBILE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE SCHOOL PREMISES. Strict disciplinary action will be taken if any student is found with a mobile phone.
The cost of repairs/replacement caused on account of damage to school property by the students will be charged to the pupils concerned.
The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, pens, money, clothes and other articles. It is not advisable for students to carry large amount of money or other valuable articles with them.Books and other property must be marked as far as possible,with the owner’s name.
Parents are not allowed to make any personal calls or send any e-mails or whatsapp messages to the staff and school authoritiites.
LIBRARY RULES
Strict discipline is to be maintained in the Library
One book shall be issued at a time to the students for home reading.
Books are to be returned within a week from the date of issue.
The students shall not write, damage, tear, turn down the leaves or make any mark upon any book.
Every person taking a book out of the Library and every reader inside the Library shall be responsible for the safe custody of the book.
Books being lost or damaged shall either be replaced or such monetary compensations be paid for as may be fixed by the Librarian in consultation with the Principal.
The Library timings for parents from
Monday to Friday (Except on Thursday )
Pre-Primary Parents : 2.30 – 3.00 pm
Primary/ Secondary Parents : 2.30 – 3.00 pm
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of absence is granted only in unavoidable cases on receiving written application from the parents or guardians. The Principal reserves the right to refuse leave.
The leave record in the diary must be filled and signed by the parents explaining absence from the school.
When a child is ill for a prolonged period (more than 3 days) a medical certificate should accompany the leave application.
Pupils who have been suffering from or exposed to any infectious disease will not be allowed to attend school unless they bring a Doctor’s certificate to state that the period of quarantine is over.
Normally, prior permission for leave must be obtained by a written application by the parent/ guardian written in the Leave Record Page of the School Calendar. In case of illness where the application cannot be sent in advance, a leave letter should be sent in within two days of absence. No long leave or its extension will be granted without prior permission. Absence without permission for more than a week will make a pupil liable to be struck off the roll without any notice.
Application for leave upto two days must be written on the Leave Record Page of the School Calendar. Application for leave of more than a week must be written as a separate letter.
No half day leave will be permitted. If a child has to leave school during school hours he/ she may take full day leave.
Students who are seriously unwell should not be brought only for a test and then taken away. In such a case they will be marked absent for a day.
