Since 2000 the School is permanently affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, and follows the ICSE Syllabus. Stress is laid on competencies and skills where academics are concerned.
The School academic year begins in March and comprises of two semesters, March to August and September to February. In addition to academic subjects, the School curriculum also includes subjects such as Art & Craft, Indian Music & Dance, Games, Yoga, PT, Gymnastics etc for an all round development.
While Computer education is introduced from the Pre-primary level right upto standard X, the school also offers Computer Applications, Technical Drawing Applications, Economics, Commercial Studies, Art and Physical Education as elective subjects in the final years.
Sanskrit, as a third language is taught from class V to class VIII. Though a basic course, it gives an insight into Vedic Culture and forms a good base for those hoping to pursue Vedic Literature in the future. In order to enable the students to be conversant with the predominant local language, Marathi is introduced as a compulsory subject.
The “Project Method” of learning, hands-on activities as well as educational tours, form an integral part of the course providing the students with the practical wealth of knowledge and to bring an authentic touch to all that is being taught.
In accordance with the ICSE regulations, the school does not conduct exams for the students of the pre-primary and primary classes, though they will be assessed through a continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) process. Formal exams are conducted twice a year for students from V to X.
